Popular TV actress Rubina Dilaik recently shared her philosophy of style, stressing that life's too short to have a boring wardrobe.
Posing on the sets of "Battleground," Rubina shared a few photos on Instagram that featured her stunning appearance as the mentor for the Mumbai Strikers team. Dressed in an exquisite, floor-sweeping black gown, Rubina had a full cape draped over her shoulders. The gown had a large, heavily decorated bow with sparkling sequins on the bodice, and off-shoulder puffed sleeves which lent an extra dramatic touch.
To go with her outfit, Rubina wore her hair open and chose a gentle nude makeup look set against pale pink lips.
With the post, she captioned: "Life is too short to wear boring clothes ! So wake up, Dress up and Show up."
As far as the show "Battleground" goes, it consisted of a competition between 16 participants for 28 days in order to be crowned India's fitness superstar. The participants went through rigorous physical tests and were mentored by fitness icons. One male and one female were finally selected on the basis of their strength and stamina.
Rubina's career in acting started with the show Chotti Bahu, but she became more popular playing Radhika Shastri opposite Avinash Sachdev, a character she continued in the sequel. She played Simran "Smiley" Gill in Saas Bina Sasural in 2012, before appearing in Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed in 2013.
She gained immense popularity with her performances as Sita in the mythological show Devon Ke Dev.Mahadev and Jeannie in Jeannie Aur Juju. She gained accolades for playing a trans character in the serial Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, opposite Vivian Dsena.
